Imported Koi

This year at LAMOUREUX GREENHOUSES we have a great selection of imported koi. If we do not have the specific size or pattern you are looking for we can order it!! For more information please contact Mr. Lamoureux.

Type of Imported Koi Available

Imported Koi Fish

Gosanke Group

Kohaku: White Koi with bold red patches. The most popular variety of Koi.

Sanke: White Koi with red patches and black spots on the upper half of the body. Black stripes occasionally seen on the pectoral fins or tail.

Showa: Black,red and white.

Utsuri Group

Shiro: Black and white Koi. Black appears as bands around the body. Black on some portions of the head and motoguro on the pectoral fins is desirable.

Hi Utsuri: Red and black Koi.

Ki Utsuri: Yellow and black Koi.

Bekko
White Koiu with black spots on the top half of the body. The black will not be on the head but will be from the shoulder back to the tail.

Aka Bekko: Red koi with black spots instead of white and black.

Assgi: Light blue or gray scaled Koi with dark blue reticulation of the scales, and orange or red pectorals and red below the lateral line.

Shusui: Red will be higher on the boday and a large zipper like scale pattern runs on top of the Koi from head to fin.

Tancho

Tancho Kohaku: White Koi with a red spot on the head and no other red on the body.

Tancho Showa: Showa with a single red spot on the head and no other red on the body.

Tancho Snake: Snake with a single red spot on the head and no other red on the body.

Goshiki: White Koi with red kohaku like pattern and black reticulation on the scales

Koromo: A white Koi with red pattern and black, gray or blue reticulation on red scales.

Ai Goromo: The reticulation on the red scales has a blue cast.

Sumi Goromo: The reticulation is black and heavier then the Ai.

Bundo Goromo: The reticulation on the red scales gives a purplish appearance.

Platinum Ogon: White solid color metallic Koi.

Yamabuki Ogon: Yellow solid color metallic Koi,

Orengi Ogon: Solid orange

Kin Matsuba: Ogon with black reticulation.

Gin Shiro Utsuri: Metallic Shiro Utsuri.

Kin Showa: Metallic Showa

Kin Ki Utsuri: Metallic golden, yellow or copper colored Utsuri.

Hikari Moyo: Metallic Koi with pattern

Hariwake: metallic white with yellow or orange patches

Kujaku: metallic white Koi with red/orange patches and black reticulation on the scales.

Kikusui: A German metallic white Koi with red or deep orange pattern.

Yamatonishiki: A metallic with Koi with red or orange patches and black spots on the back.

Kawarigoi

Kumonryu: A black and white scale less Koi on witch the pattern changes throughout the year.

Beni Kumonryu: A black and white metallic Koi that the pattern changes throughout the year.

Beni Kikokuryu: metallic

Haijiro: Black Koi with white on the tips of the pectoral fins.

Benigoi: Non-metallic solid color red Koi.

Matsukawa Bakke: Black and white koi.

Ochiba Shigure: A gray blue Koi with a brown or rust pattern.

Chagoi: Non metallic solid brown, tan or olive green Koi.

Kigoi: metallic solid yellow Koi.

Karasu: Non-metallic solid black koi.

Midorigoi: Non-metallic solid green koi.

SORAGOI: Non-metallic solid gray koi.
